Group Coaching

Group coaching in an executive setting is a powerful and effective way for leaders to develop their skills while learning with and from their peers. Led by a skilled coach, group coaching sessions provide a supportive and collaborative environment for executives to share their experiences, gain valuable insights, and receive feedback from their peers. This type of coaching can help executives build leadership skills, increase self-awareness, and enhance their ability to communicate effectively, all…

while reducing the feeling of isolation that can come with leading at the top. With a focus on awareness, accountability, and action planning, group coaching in an executive setting can help leaders achieve their personal and professional goals while strengthening their ability to lead and inspire their teams.

Workshop Facilitation

CBW can take your teams through highly interactive and enriching personal development workshops based on the foundations of StandOut Strengths, DiSC, and the Lencioni Model assessments.

A DiSC workshop helps your people understand their own communication style and how to work better with those who have different styles. Participants take an assessment and engage in activities to learn about different DiSC styles, and…

develop strategies for effective communication and collaboration. The goal is to improve teamwork and individual performance.

Strengths workshops for leaders and teams begin with an assessment to help participants understand their natural talents and skills. After becoming aware of their dominant strengths, through a series of interactive exercises and discussions, participants walk away ready to offer up the best of themselves in the greatest service to the team.

  • I highly recommend Courtney as a professional coach. She supported me through a 6-month transition to a new leadership role, providing valuable insights and guidance on how to navigate the complexities of decision-making groups. Her structured process, combined with a down-to-earth and approachable style, made it easy to work with her. Thanks to her coaching, I have grown as a leader and have been able to achieve greater success in my role.

    Adrian Cox, Chief Transformation Officer

Courtney’s ability to not only offer sage guidance but also to guide a person through the process of identifying areas of growth and potential paths forward is incredibly powerful! She brings valuable perspectives to every single conversation, and her genuine desire to see people grow motivates and inspires growth. I cannot recommend Courtney highly enough!

Peter Carone, Vice President, Customer Support

Courtney’s presence made me immediately comfortable and her full spectrum approach helped me realize how non-work and work are so much more related than I ever thought. She helped me navigate complex professional situations as I was growing a new team, finding new ways of approaching problems through different perspectives – making it a much smoother experience with better outcomes than I would have found on my own. Working with Courtney gave me much more confidence and compassion for others and myself.

    Laura Paciano, VP Marketing

Team coaching sessions have truly helped out across all stages of team development (forming, storming, norming, performing). However, I feel I’ve gotten the most value out of the sessions focused on the two foundational elements of any successful leadership team: building trust and mastering conflict.

Gabe Miller-Smith, SVP Global Customer Success

  • Courtney is a highly-skilled, intentional, and powerful leadership coach and thought partner. In a few months’ time, working with Courtney in a corporate environment, I experienced inspiring results. She has an innate ability to deeply understand her client’s goals, exhibits warmth and openness, and leads with evidence-based coaching methodologies and frameworks. I highly recommend Courtney and her work.

    Jessie Withers, People Development

The team coaching sessions teased out and allowed for discussion about real problems between team members, creating bonds and community and driving better outcomes for the individuals, the team, and the organization.

Carolyn Mellor, SVP, Revenue Operations, Strategy, and Enablement

To say that Courtney Birch Webster was a major catalyst for my personal and professional growth would be a gross understatement. Her insight and guidance opened up possibilities and opportunities I could never have imagined before connecting with her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

    Pablo Miralles, Feature Film Director

Courtney led me through an amazing experience of transformational personal discovery paired with actionable insights on how I could lead more effectively. I reflect on this time many years later as a critical influence on my continued career success. I couldn’t more strongly recommend her to others!

    Michael Denari, Director

  • Courtney was part of the special team of coaches on staff at our pre-IPO company. She employs an empathetic, yet no-nonsense approach to helping you remove barriers to infinite possibilities. She held me accountable, helped me overcome setbacks, challenged my traditional thoughts, and gave me a steady connection when I was trying to forge a new path with my team. She helps you dig deeper to confront negative patterns and shows you the tactics you need to connect with the people and positions you seek. She is amazing at what she does!

    Elise Arthur Greves, Marketing Director

The work we did together changed my life. At the time, I was struggling with my career path, and even though I was “moving up the ladder” I felt stuck but I wasn’t totally sure why or what to do about it. Courtney asked me questions that nobody, including myself, had asked before. She was able to help me focus on my passions and my strengths in such a way that it naturally led me to this “aha” moment: “I can change my career path and be totally fine – I don’t have to keep going up this ladder just because that’s what I’ve been doing… I have strengths that will suit me well in other avenues and that makes me excited instead of a nervous wreck!” Courtney played a HUGE part in this introspective journey and mindset shift by giving me the space and the encouragement to be open and vulnerable but also super positive and forward-focused. Within a year, I made a move to another role and was so happy to be doing something that I loved and that also played to my strengths – – it made a huge difference not only in my work life but my personal life as well. I was less stressed, I slept better, I ate better, I worked out, and the list goes on. I just became a happier person, period.

The work we did together stays with me today in that now I know how to stop and have regular check-ins with myself – Am I doing something that excites me? Am I doing something that utilizes my strengths? Am I happy? As soon as my answers start to be more “no’s” than “yes’s”, I now have the tools and confidence to make a change.

I am beyond grateful for the coaching with Courtney and the impact on my life and I am excited for anyone who gets the opportunity to work with her.

    Meagan Connolly, People Operations

Right from the start, we were able to crystallize my unique combination of strengths and then gameplan where I should focus my attention to best leverage to have the greatest positive impact. Another benefit of our coaching sessions was identifying and sticking to personal goals. Courtney is a fantastic coach and I would highly encourage anyone to work with her, especially if working in demanding positions that bring a great deal of complexity!

    Brandon Poling, Chief of Staff

Courtney is an empathetic, passionate, results-driven, team player who can step into any situation and bring a positive impact. Her energy and intuitiveness make her an ideal person to shepherd people into their best selves.

Greg Gills, Senior Director of Organizational Development

  • Having the coaches conduct Team coaching sessions with us was invaluable. Creating common language, using above/below the line, helped two disparate teams begin to develop better communication and start building trust. We wouldn’t be where we are without them.

    Vice President, Marketing

It was a great look into the way our teammates work individually, and how we can work better together.

It gave the team the forum to be vulnerable and brainstorm the root cause of tension/crisis that has been surfacing.

The space to focus on critical team dynamics.

I can apply the knowledge in a positive way to improve myself and how I collaborate with others.

Creating a safe space to be real, open, and human with each other really was wonderful.

Getting vulnerable with teammates helped make us closer.

We got some real issues out in the open.
